Before you read that headline and go, “dude!” let us emphasize that the Chipotle commissioned commercial for which Karen O covered Willie Nelson’s “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys” was made to raise awareness for charity. Plus, Willie Nelson’s version (recorded with Waylon Jennings) was a cover. So, really, the headline is kind of misleading, isn’t it?

But the cover is really good and the video was actually made with a decent cause in mind. So, if you want to hear Karen O cover Ed Bruce’s “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys,” you should definitely watch the short it was made for, which aims to raise awareness for the hardships of American farmers.
