Jon Brion to produce the new Best Coast album

Best Coast announced via Twitter today that Jon Brion would be producing their new album, and they’re set to start recording in a few weeks.

Singer Bethany Cosentino told Rolling Stone last month that they had some “ridiculous people in mind” to produce the new record, and they delivered—Brion is best known as a producer for his work with Kanye West and Fiona Apple.
