Assuming you’ve got no better way to spend your day, the Flaming Lips’ much publicized 24-hour long song “7 Skies H3” is now streaming online. With a catch, obviously: flaminglipstwentyfourhoursong.com only allows 999 listeners at a time and, believe it or not, that count got maxed out late last night when the song first surfaced. This means that if you’re willing to waste an entire day listening to a song that’s ultimately going to be stretched with a bunch of bleeps, bloops and name drops you’re shit out of luck.

There’s a line, somehow, and that means you’ll have to check back periodically in the hopes that someone’s dropped out of the stream. Not that doing so is unexpected or anything: again, the song is 24-hour hours long.
Of course there are obviously alternative means of listening to the song, most notably the lucratively priced $5000 USB-key included set which comes packed into a chrome plated human skull. There are only 13 of those available because obviously that’s a huge waste of money. But hey, ballers, you can buy it on the streaming site if you’re so inclined.
