Chad VanGaalen will have a bunch of new albums for sale on cassette on his upcoming tour

In a new interview, Alberta singer/songwriter Chad VanGaalen told Vancouver paper the Georgia Straight that he was working on 11 records that he was going to release very soon. “I’ve recently acquired a really good tape duplicator,” said VanGaalen. “So I’m kind of back to the way I was doing it when I was 16 or 17, which works a lot easier for me.”

Although no other details were given, VanGaalen’s label Flemish Eye later confirmed to Exclaim! that VanGaalen will indeed be selling the new stuff on his upcoming tour, and yep, on cassette. The new music will also be available for download via the label’s website in the coming weeks.
