Watch the new Diamond Rings video for "You and Me"

Up until now, Diamond Rings‘ videos have centered on Mr. Rings, John O’Regan himself, styled in vivid clothing and make-up, choreograph-shimmying his way around the streets of Toronto. But the new video for “You and Me” is mostly centered on two imaginative young kids out for some fun who encounter some evil.

Speaking to Spinner, Diamond Rings says the video is “about transcending adversity by harnessing the power of a shared creative consciousness”

“The video is a stylized representation of my own childhood experiences and hopefully demonstrates that our differences should be celebrated instead of repressed. I’m thrilled with the final cut and humbled by the energy that the crew and actors invested in bringing our vision to life. I hope it touches my fans in a positive way.” [via Spinner]
