Sloan announce 10th studio album and stream lead track

Toronto-via-Halifax Canadian music stalwarts Sloan have announced the release date for their upcoming album. The Double Cross is the band’s tenth studio album and sees the band celebrating their 20th anniversary with a release on May 10. It is the band’s first release on Outside Music.
Outside has posted a stream of the album’s lead track, “Follow the Leader,” a song by bassist/vocalist Chris Murphy. Like each Sloan record, each member has contributed songs to the twelve-track album. In a press release, guitarist/vocalist Patrick Pentland sums it up best: “In the end, you can’t escape that Sloan sound.”
