The internet lost its nostalgia-crazed mind last week when Nike announced that they would be releasing 1,500 pairs of the shoes Marty McFly wore in the year 2015 in Back to the Future.

The Nike Mag, or the “Marty McFly” to actual people, are to be auctioned off on eBay, with the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The first pair, however, was sold at a live charity auction in Los Angeles last Thursday, and the proud owner paid a cool $37,500. The bidder? British rapper Tinie Tempah.

A representative for the rapper told TMZ that Timpah is a “series shoe collector”; these, indeed, are covetable shoes. If you’ve got a heavy wallet, get your own on ebay until September 18. [via BallerStatus.com]
