Radiohead to play four songs on an extended episode of 'The Colbert Report'

We learned last month that Radiohead would be heading to NYC to perform on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, and now the band has added another performance to their stay: they’ll appear on an hour-long episode of The Colbert Report, performing four songs on air and one online.

We’ll hopefully get a Colbert interview in there too; the host did say in a statement that he was looking forward to the appearance.

“I look forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors.”

Along with material from latest album King of Limbs, Radiohead will reportedly play a recently live-debuted song “The Daily Show Mail.” [via Consequence of Sound]
