As we await the release of Jeff Mangum‘s massive Neutral Milk Hotel vinyl boxset, there are previously unreleased songs being put up on the NMH website sporadically. Today, we get “Little Birds (Unfinished Version 2).”

In case you have trouble finding it (um, not that we did…), but it’s embedded in a little banner if you scroll down and keep your eye to the right. It is acoustic and melancholy and lovely. It is Jeff Mangum.

He’s also putting up curated playlists, and if you’re so inclined, those can be found on the website as well.
