Guided By Voices to release a new album on New Year's Day

Guided By Voices may well play us into the end of time, because the ‘classic’ line up of the group that singer Robert Pollard reunited for some shows last year are making a new album, their first together since 1996′s Under The Bushes, Under The Stars.

The new album will be called Let’s Go Eat the Factory, and is a whopping 21 tracks. They band have also decided to release it on New Years Day so when you’re at home feeling sad and reflective, you can get some new-new music on iTunes.
