Archie welcomes KISS in a new four-part comic series

Gene Simmons, ever the business man, has secured his spot in another iconic pop culture place: Archie Comics.

No, it’s not the 70s, but yeah, KISS is going to star in a four-part series called Archie Meets KISS that is said to be a “topsy-turvy, magical tale of a spell gone wrong that involves Archie and the gang, and Sabrina meeting the famed rockers.”

Jon Goldwater, CEO of Archie Comics, told ABC News that that the partnership came about because “One day, I was lucky enough to get a call. [Simmons’] ideas were extremely inspiring, and we thought it would be a wonderful thing for Archie,” he said.

The first edition is out November 30. [ABC News]
