Watch Tom Morello join Bright Eyes on stage at the Ottawa Folk Festival

This is a good week for odd collaborations.

First Jack White and Insane Clown Posse, now Bright Eyes and Rage Against the Machine’s (and solo artist, of course), Tom Morello. The famed guitarist joined the grand folk band on stage for renditions of “Arienette” and the particularly great “Road to Joy.” You can watch them both below.

Morello’s huge sound proves a fitting addition to Bright Eyes’ rich textures, and in the second one, “Joy” makes itself out to be the perfect descriptor. [via Consequence of Sound]
