Watch the Throne tour delayed and Jay-Z feels "a little bad" about the album exclusives

Not that this should surprise anyone, but Jay-Z and Kanye West have pushed their Watch the Throne tour dates back by about a month. Pre-sales for the duo’s tour (as “Throne”) were initially delayed, allegedly so that “they” could work out more dates (and if you’re picturing Jay-Z and Kanye working the phones, don’t, because the “they” in this case is obviously their management), but now their supposed stage takeover won’t start until the end of October.
So yeah, long story short, another Watch the Thone delay. In other news, grass is green.
Watch the Throne (the album) is still expected out next week, hitting iTunes exclusively on the 8th and Best Buy on the 12th before getting stocked everywhere else two weeks later. As we reported last week, some indie store owners got together and wrote a letter to “Throne” about this whole exclusivity fiasco (it’s a fiasco, trust us). Well, Jay-Z heard about it, and, as he told New York radio station Hot 97, he “feels a little bad about it.”
Hope that helps, indie record stores!
Jay-Z also all-but guaranteed that the album wouldn’t leak in that same radio interview. Your move, internet. [via One Thirty BPM]
