In a move that would truly seem to be the work of the devil, Ticketmaster and Walmart have announced their new partnership with the news that ticket-vending kiosks will be installed in stores around the U.S., including California, New York, New Jersey, Texas, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Florida.

Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard said that by “integrating ticketing into Walmart stores, we are able to offer fans this very convenient way to learn about upcoming events, purchase and take home tickets without leaving their neighborhood.” Chances are, if one does not have the internet at their home—you know, that already way more convenient place in their neighborhood—they’re not shelling out the megadollars required for Ticketmaster services anyway.

Ticketmaster has also said there will be ticket exclusives for Walmart customers. No word yet if these will make their way to Canada. [via Consumerist
