Every week, This Exists uncovers and explores musical peculiarities that exist in the dark corners of the internet, sometimes just outside the mainstream. After a bit of a delay we’re back to show you one of our silliest discoveries yet: a collection of metal songs gone Disney (and Disney songs gone metal). It’s Cannibal Corpse and Justin Bieber as you’ve never heard them!

I was lucky growing up because my parents didn’t mind that I loved Slipknot when they came out (shut up, I was like 12). But some friends of mine? Nuh-uh. Slipknot was too loud, too scary and too suicidal. Or something.

But what if there was a family friendly version of Slipknot’s music? Thanks to AndyRehfeldt, a YouTube-er and musician, there is. Don’t believe me? Here’s his “Radio Disney” version of Slipknot’s “Wait And Bleed”.

He’s got a bunch more like this, almost all of which are worth checking out. Among them? Since it’s newsworthy, how about his take on Behemoth’s “Demigod”?

Or Cannibal Corpse’s “Hammer Smashed Face”

Yeah, this guy is good. Nothing makes that more evident than his metal-fied pop songs. He’s got not one, but two metal takes on Justin Bieber’s “Baby” (one with original vocals, posted below, and another with death growls here). He’s turned “My Heart Will Go On” into metal, “Toxic” into country and “Back in Black” into funk. You’ll have to visit his YouTube channel for the full selection (since there’s a ton), but here’s some more of our favourites:
