It seems the recent tour by recluse Jeff Mangum was a sign of more activity to come after all: a brand new Neutral Milk Hotel website has been launched, and with it the announcement of a big ol’ boxset containing not only everything released to date, but fifteen (!) previously unreleased tracks.

The vinyl-only set will be self-released and cost $85, but you get a ton of stuff (again, all vinyl): 1996’s On Avery Island and 1998’s In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, the Everything Is EP, Ferris Wheel on Fire, which is an EP of unreleased material, a “Holland, 1945″ picture disk 7″, a 7″ featuring two unreleased songs, a 7” that includes unreleased and live versions of the song “Little Birds”, and two 24″ by 24″ posters.

As if that weren’t enough, you can buy one-of-a-kind drawings for only $15, and all of the unreleased songs will be available for PWYW (Pay What You Wish) through Bandcamp starting November 22. Two of them are streaming on the site now. Oh, and there’s a regularly updated Mangum radio show you can get through the site too. Media darling Mangum!

You can find all the details, plus future tour info, on the new site, though at the moment it seems to be up and down, likely due to traffic demands. [via Pitchfork]
