Last month, When Charlie Sheen tweeted that he’d be heading down to the Gathering of the Juggalos this year, we didn’t notice, because we try not to pay attention to him.

But in a new interview with Rolling Stone, it’s the Clowns themselves who have some non-ironic words about the actor’s appearance at the yearly festival. They read like comedy gold.

“Everything he says is debated, picked apart—much like everything we do,” Shaggy 2 Dope says. “[At the festival,] we find the people that get accepted the most are people that are looked down upon by your average mainstream people.” True to those words, back in May, the Juggalos welcomed AUX’s very own Sam Sutherland into their world.

Sheen will be hosting on the mainstage on Saturday night, along with Dustin Diamond from Saved By The Bell.

Last year, guests Tila Tequila and Method Man were attacked with bottles and rocks. So. Just saying.
