They caused a near riot when they played their first shows in five years this past March at SXSW, and the excitement for reunited Toronto dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979 still hasn’t died down. The initial few festival dates grew into a slew, running through fall, and if you thought a Toronto date wasn’t going to happen, rest easy. They’re coming home, guys.

Jesse Keeler and Sebastien Grainger come home on October 28 to play a show at the Sound Academy, a venue loathed primarily for its tucked-away location, but we’re betting there won’t be any problem filling the place for this homecoming. And at a whopping $36 plus service fees per ticket, it’s possible there may be another riot. Trust and Nightbox will be opening.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, August through Ticketweb, or at local record stores Soundscapes, Rotate This, and Play De Record.
