Amazon spoils the secret: we'll have a new Tom Waits song on the 23rd

Tom Waits is a man of mystery. Amidst rumours and speculation of if and when he’d release new material, a buzz grew that yeah, he was working on something. Rather than come and say it outright, Waits told fans to visit his website on the 23rd and he’d “set the record straight.”
Amazon, being the soulless jerks they are took the announcement as an opportunity to ruin his fun faster than you could say “Swordfishtrombones.” As they often do, they went ahead and put up a pre-order for a new Tom Waits song, titled “Bad As Me” that they’ll unlock on the 23rd. If we’re lucky rumours that it’s the title track off a new Tom Waits album will prove true. If not, at least we’ll have new music from one of music’s all time greats.
