Watch the new Handsome Furs video for "What About Us" (NSFW)

Soooo. This is a pretty great video. Just as a warning, though, there’s nudity! And portrayal of exploitation and sex! But it’s all done in a way that’s so thoughtful and intimate that, yes, it’s technically NSFW, but nothing about it is actually shocking at all.

Directed by Scott Coffey, the cinematic-looking clip was shot in Portland, OR, you’ll also notice that some of the shots in the video look similar to the album art of the new Handsome Furs album, Sound Kapital—Coffey conceived the cover and back of the album’s artwork during the making of this video.
