Fab Morvan, perhaps better known as one half of controversial 80s pop outfit Milli Vanilli, is apparently planning a come back. The question is, a come back to what?

After blind siding the music industry with what, in hindsight, seems like a pretty obvious ruse (a French and German two piece singing in perfect, phonetic English? COME ON), Milli Vanilli quickly went from top of the pops to bottom of the barrel. Soon the models-slash-dancers-turned-lip-synchers were exposed as little more than pretty poster boys for Milli Vanilli’s otherwise super duper deep and musically textured approach to pop music (sigh).

The two-piece was exposed as an army of studio musicians, their Grammy was revoked and after failed attempts at legitimizing themselves and the untimely death of Rob “Milli” Pilatus, Milli Vanilli as we knew it was no more.

Now, after years of silence, Fab Morvan is back and working with The Alchemist, the producer turned DJ who’s most recently been backing up Eminem. As Alchemist tells TMZ, “it’s real shit dude.”

Morvan’s rep tells TMZ that their client is “DEFINITELY serious” about the comeback and adds that he’s also recently worked with Tiesto. Will it pan out? We’ll see. But chances are this won’t be much different than Morvan’s last come back attempt. [via TMZ]
