SORRY ALL OTHER MUSIC NEWS, this sliver of a possibility that will never actually probably happen takes the cake today.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Pixies drummer David Loverling said the band might actually make some new music together. “It’s definitely a stronger possibility than it was a few years ago,” he says. “If we put something out, it has to be good. Period. We don’t want to break the legacy.”

Well, no duh, Pixies. Lovering goes on to say that the band keeps touring because the demand is there, noting that they could “possibly just tour forever off our catalog,” though the infamous tensions that existed at the dawn of the reunion has all but dissipated. “We’re very fortunate and really enjoying it, so it keeps going and going. We definitely appreciate things being older and wiser. It makes us mind our Ps and Qs a little more.” [via Rolling Stone]
