The Creators Project, a technology and cultural collaboration between Intel and Vice, will stage its second week-long event featuring music, art, panels, and more this October in New York City.

Included in the events this year will be a Karen O ‘psycho-opera,’ which is said to be “an assault on the tragic joys of youth,” (so maybe influenced by her time spent writing tunes for Where the Wild Things Are?) and will be directed by Adam Rapp.

You may remember that the Creators Project was Coachella festival’s first ever creative partner this year, staging interactive performances with Interpol and Arcade Fire, among others. Last year’s launch in New York featured performances and works by MIA, Die Antwoord, Spike Jonze, Sleigh Bells and others. More information on this year’s will be revealed at the Creators Project website.
