Listen to two unreleased Miracle Fortress tracks

As any fan of Miracle Fortress noticed, it was a long wait between his Five Roses debut and the follow-up, this year’s sound-shifted Was I the Wave?, and over the weekend, Graham Van Pelt decided to share some of the material made in the interim that didn’t make the new album cut.

“Some of it was intended for an ill-fated and ultimately discarded album named Hoop Dreams,” Van Pelt posted on his blog late last week. “I’ve decided to upload some of these songs here for free as ‘digital singles’ with A- and B-sides.”

The first digital single features “Gestures” and, on the flip, so to speak, “Possession,” and both tracks, similar to lots of Was I the Wave?, were recorded and mixed in Montreal in 2010. You can download the single below.
