Listen to a new Mogwai track, "Get To France"

Back in May, Mogwai frontman Stuart Braithwaite told us that the band had finished a new EP of songs they “didn’t really feel fit with the rest of the record,” Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will, their seventh studio album released this past February. From the sound of the first track to drop from the EP yesterday, “Get To France,” it appears the Scottish group went on a bit of a tangent from the usual during the recording process, but this addition of an orchestral element with heavy piano and no guitars might be what Mogwai fans have been craving. The Earth Division EP arrives September 13 via Sub Pop and you can view the tracklist as well as a stream of “Get To France” above.
