Listen to Kathleen Hanna and Peaches cover the Runaways

Even though there is still some pending legal action on the new Runaways cover compilation (Joan Jett and Cherie Currie tried to take label Main Man Records to court claiming the label used their names and false approval of the project for promotion), Take It Or Leave It came out last week and today, Consequence of Sound premiered one of our most anticipated cuts, the Kathleen Hanna and Peaches (with Ad Rock, too!) collaboration on “Dead End Justice,” a song from the Runaways’ seminal 1976 self-titled debut.
The song sounds almost exactly as you’d expect from this combination—electro-grunge grindy-poppy with some tapping drum machines and endless attitude. You can hear the song below.
