It’s been under a week since Hot Water Music gave fans a taste of their first new music in close to a decade with “The Fire, The Steel, The Tread,” and now they’re back with another dilly of a pickle. “Up to Nothing” is the other side of their upcoming 7″ and, with Chris Wollard on the mic and a tempo that’s more A Flight and a Crash than it is Ragan-esque, a solidifying sign that Hot Water Music is back and as grit-tastically badass as ever. Hot Water Music are currently hard at work on their 8th album and first for Rise Records (expected out sometime next year). The self-produced The Fire, The Steel, The Tread” / “Up To Nothing is out next month
