Watch Kid Cudi's new video, directed by Shia LaBeouf

After releasing the first track from his rock band 2 Be Continuum yesterday, Kid Cudi also released this new music video for his song “Marijuana.” The video was shot (apparently on a flip cam? See 3:17ish), directed, and edited by actor Shia LaBeouf. The two have been pals and have been talking about collaborating for a while, where LaBeouf would make a short film for Cudi’s song “Maniac.”
Now, recently, Kid Cudi told his diary Tumblr that he had given up marijuana and was happy to be sober, but guess what he is doing in this video? I will give you one guess. We don’t even know what to believe in anymore (though maybe this was filmed before that post, but still, we feel really lied to).
