Last month Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg told Fortune magazine his plans to become a more responsible consumer, saying that he’d only eat meat he’d humanely killed himself.

Word of this got back to Ted Nugent, because why wouldn’t it, and now the “Cat Scratch Fever” singer has offered his support for the nervous billionaire, telling the New York Daily News “I’m not so much surprised but excited that a man of that demographic and this era’s power is coming forth and using the terms ‘I’m killing my food.'”

Nugent, who’s known as much for his love of cowboy hats and firearms as he is his music, is also the author of Kill It and Grill It.

“My advice for Mark is to go slow, soak in the mighty spirit, and to call me. I would be happy to introduce Mark to the ultimate hunting experience,” said Nugent, who adds, “I want to teach him the spirituality of minimalist, honest consumerism.”
