Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced via their website the title and release date for their upcoming album, the followup to 2006’s Stadium Arcadium.

The record is called I’m With You and will be released on August 30, with its first single, “The Adventures of Raindance Maggie,” expected mid-July.

Produced by Rick Rubin, who has worked with the band on all albums dating back to 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magic, the new album will be the band’s first in a few years without guitarist John Frusciante. He quit in late 2009 citing musical differences and the need to work on his solo career and was replaced by touring guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
