New musician alert: James Franco is releasing an EP now

It’s okay, everyone you can stop worrying now, because James Franco is getting set to release an EP.

And not just any EP. Oh no. It’ll be an experimental dance EP with Brooklyn-based performance artist Kalup Linzy, the two performing as Kalup and Franco. The group’s Facebook page says they are where “dreams, art, music, films, soap operas, real life, and performance art collide.” The pair met when Franco suggested Kalup guest on Franco’s very own show that he is (was?) on, General Hospital.

Turn It Up (yep! I know!) will be released on July 12 but for now, listen to their single from earlier this year, “I Love You.” No we love YOU James Franco, I think.
