Remember when learning that Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong had a teenaged son who was releasing an album with his punk band made you feel old? Here is some more of that: Coco Gordon Moore, 17-year-old daughter of Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, has just released her debut album with the punk band she fronts, Big Nils.

Called Sibling, the scrappy lo-fi album is available for stream via Big Nils’ Bandcamp page (where you can also purchase a download of it for $5). With song titles such as “Beep Beep Boop Boop,” we really feel like we can relate. The band is rounded out by Zoe Wardlaw on guitar, Lilly Daiber on bass, and Sen Morimoto on drums. Special thanks is given to mom and dad on the Bandcamp. We are really really cuted out. You go, Coco. Listen to Sibling here. [via Pitchfork]
