Ice-T reuniting Body Count

Ice-T, the “Cop Killer” writer turned cop actor, will apparently reunite his old thrash metal band Body Count for a show tonight in Los Angeles at the E3 video game expo during a party celebrating the upcoming Gears of War 3 game for Xbox 360.
Apparently Ice is featured in the game as one of the voice actors and also contributed a new song to the soundtrack… which we guess leads to the resurrection of a band that had one of the most controversial songs in the early ’90s with “Cop Killer.”
Currently the rapper/actor stars as Detective Odafin ‘Fin’ Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and is also set to have his own reality show with his wife Coco Marie (or Coco-T) entitled Ice Loves Coco, debuting June 14.
Body Count’s last studio album, Murder 4 Hire, was released in 2006. Guitarist Ernie C has previously stated a new album will potentially be released later this year. [All Hip Hop]
