Chris Taylor wears many musical hats—bassist/multi-instrumentalist for Grizzly Bear, producer for acts such as the Dirty Projectors, Morning Benders, and Twin Shadow, day player on TV On the Radio’s latest, and now, he’s set to release his debut solo album under the moniker CANT. Dreams Come True comes out on September 13 on Taylor’s own Terrible Records.

Back in 2009 we got a sample of what was to come when the ethereal “Ghosts” single was released. While it doesn’t appear on the new album, we do have a collaboration with Mr. Twin Shadow Himself, George Lewis Jr., to look forward to. Lewis’ debut album Forget was produced by Chris Taylor and released on Terrible Records. It’s just one big hip New York family, really. [via Brooklyn Vegan].
