Get stoked for an upcoming Brian Wilson biopic

Now that everything’s coming up Brian, news of an upcoming Wilson biopic is both welcome and kind of unsurprising – especially since independent production company, River Road Entertainment (Tree of Life, Fair Game) is at the helm.

According to their statement, River Road will be taking an “unconventional look” at the Beach Boys frontman’s “musical process as well as his struggles with mental illness, and how he managed to persevere as an artist with the love and support of his wife Melinda”. Aw. Musical rights have also been confirmed, but guess what hasn’t: a title, actor or release date. Well there’s always Jared Leto. [via NYMag]
