Watch a new Chad VanGaalen video and find hidden items to win prizes

Today doesn’t just mark the release of Chad VanGaalen‘s fourth album, the strangely, amazingly titled Diaper Island, it also sees the release of the second single and accompanying video, “Peace On the Rise.”

The second single is denser than the first, the haunting, sparse “Sara,” and the video packs more in than even the song. Another animated gem from VanGaalen himself, he’s also decided to make this one into a contest—VanGaalen has drawn a series of objects that are hidden within the video. Just visit the official Diaper Island website to see the items and to enter the contest for a chance to win not only a copy of the album, but a hand-drawn tshirt.

VanGaalen currently has a few of Canadian dates scheduled in support of the album, starting with a Flemish Eye showcase at NXNE. All tour dates are below.
