DeAndre Cortez Way (also known as Soulja Boy) along with his record label Interscope Records and MySpace Music have been hit with a $1 million lawsuit regarding a canceled show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

According to All Hip Hop, Joseph Sheldon Brewster and his company TrinCity Entertainment filed the lawsuit in a district court in Pennsylvania claiming they had entered into an agreement with Soulja Boy to play a concert last December and paid an advance fee of $16,250 to secure the date.

TrinCity also coughed up $3,500 for bus transportation to the event and another $8,000 for television and radio commercials to promote the gig. The lawsuit says Interscope requested the show be canceled so the rapper could perform a show in Hawaii the following weekend.

Apparently both Interscope and MySpace agreed to pay $10,000 to offset the cost of advertising, but the lawsuit accuses the latter of not coming up with their $5,000 portion. Although Interscope did pay, TrinCity claims the money came too late for them to promote the newly scheduled gig in Hawaii.

The lawsuit also says Soulja Boy kept the $16,250 advance he received. TrinCity are seeking $1 million in damages for breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
