Rapper Eve urges Lil' Kim to end beef with Nicki Minaj, says hip hop needs more females

Vibe recently picked up on a BBC1 interview with Eve in which the rapper/actress dispenses some friendly advice to Lil’ Kim to let up on her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj. The rivalry supposedly started in 2009 amidst label and colleague controversy, oh and also that whole thing where Nicki MInaj blew up and became the new Lil’ Kim when Queen Bee couldn’t get her shit together.

Speaking about the matter, Eve said, “She’s Kim, period. She never has to feed. She shouldn’t…If I was her friend, I’d tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better.”

Eve goes on to say that the last thing the hip hop world needs is the few active women ruining each other. “Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that’s how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I’m loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There’s too much testosterone in the hip-hop game.” [via Vibe]
