Neko Case and Nick Cave record a duet for 'True Blood' soundtrack

A bit of news that’s really awesome right down to the fact that they share initials: Neko Case and Nick Cave have recorded a cover of the classic Zombies song “She’s Not There” for the new season of True Blood.

It’s a collaboration that we can only think should have happened much, much sooner, especially since the two shared the stage years ago. The song will close out the season four premiere, which is also titled “She’s Not There.” It will air on June 26, but let’s hope the song leaks before then. You can listen to the original below.
