Listen to a Joel Plaskett song from his upcoming rarities compilation

On June 14, Joel Plaskett will be releasing a rarities compilation ambitiously titled EMERGENCYs, false alarms, shipwrecks, castaways, fragile creatures, special features, demons and demonstrations. It’ll be released on his own New Scotland label and will contain 20 tracks of demos, outtakes, rarities and B-sides spanning his entire solo career.

Below, you can hear a track from the compilation—”When I Go” was recorded in 2010 in the famed Abbey Road studio and features Ana Egge and Peter Elkas. EMERGENCYs will be available through digital download, and on a 12-track vinyl LP that comes paired with a CD containing the full vinyl record plus 8 bonus tracks.
