In recent interview with Esquire, Flaming Lips frontman/wizard Wayne Coyne has revealed some plans—and lots of wishes—for some upcoming collaborations.

It seems that Coyne is hoping to follow up on a collaboration he’d talked about in the past with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, and he’s also waiting on a text from Jimmy Page. “Jimmy Page is a texter,” Coyne says. “So I’m thinking he’ll probably text me and say, ‘I’m not interested’ or ‘This is cool.'”

One collaboration that seems to be for sure is something with Panda Bear, aka Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox. No details were given outside of the confirmation, but it seems the best place to keep up to date on Flaming Lips news is to follow them on their revelatory Twitter.
