Here is an amazing artifact featuring members of the Wu-Tang Clan before they were the Wu-Tang Clan, one even older than that banned Nintendo commercial that was unearthed a month ago.

The video, posted on defunct New York hip hop magazine Ego Trip‘s YouTube page is taken from a 1991 Bronx community cable show called Rhythm & Soul. As Ego Trip notes, this is when GZA was known as Genius, Ol’ Dirty Bastard as Ason Unique, and RZA as Prince Rakeem.

It’s worth watching for sure, if for no other reason than to remember there was an era when “So how did you get into rap?” was an acceptable question for these guys. You can watch the video below. [via Vulture]
