This morning's new music news; Attack and Black's Daniel Romano has already started work on a new record following 'Sleep Beneath The Willow', The Wombats have released the B-Side to their single "Tokyo" and Smith Westerns have put out a short doc about the making of their latest album.
Attack in Black’s Daniel Romano has revealed he’s already started work on a new solo album to follow Sleep Beneath The Willow, which was released earlier this month. “It’s gonna be a weird one,” he said. “It’s a story that’s ten chapters long, about a fictional character. It’s mostly talking over music with some songs as well.” [Exclaim!]
The Wombats have released a new track called “A Robot Like You”, the B-Side to their single “Tokyo”. Listen/download it over at Some Kind of Awesome.
And Smith Westerns have put out a nine-minute “short film” focusing on the making of their latest album Dye It Blonde. Check out the Ray Concepcion-created video below. [Stereogum]
