This morning's new music news; The Cars have announced one Canadian date for their upcoming North American tour, Leonard Cohen was named the ninth winner of the Glen Gould Prize and Kid Cudi has released a new track online entitled "Capcom."

In support of their forthcoming album Move Like This, The Cars will be briefly touring North America in May. They have one Canadian date so far at the Sound Academy in Toronto on May 20. [Exclaim!]

Leonard Cohen was named the ninth winner of the Glen Gould Prize last Friday. The singer/songwriter will receive $50,000 and also chooses an outstanding younger artist to receive a related Protégé Prize worth $15,000. [CBC]

And Kid Cudi has released a new track called “Capcom” that’s currently streaming below. No word yet on whether it will appear on his upcoming summer mixtape A Man Named Scott. [CofS]
