This morning's new music news; Explosions in the Sky's new album is currently streaming online, Slipknot's Corey Taylor will not be the new lead singer of Velvet Revolver and The Beach Boys will release a new single with all proceeds going to help those affected by the earthquakes in Japan.

Explosions in the Sky’s new album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is now streaming online in its entirety. It will be released on April 26 and follows 2007’s All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone. [Exclaim!]

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor will not be the new lead singer for supergroup Velvet Revolver, according to guitarist Slash. The vocalist auditioned, but “didn’t seem to fit” and “No new singers that are good enough for the group have popped up.” [NME]

And The Beach Boys will release a new single to help those affected by the earthquakes in Japan. Members have recorded the track “Don’t Fight The Sea”, which originally appeared on Al Jardine’s debut solo album. It comes out today. [CofS]
