Classic rock singer/songwriter Neil Young has decided to shed some love on the city of Toronto for giving him his own holiday last month by playing two consecutive shows at Massey Hall, a venue he’s certainly no stranger to, this May.

Accompanied by Scottish folk musician Bert Jansch, Young will perform tracks from his latest album Le Noise as well as other classic songs at the legendary venue on May 10 and 11. Tickets for the gigs go on sale this Friday (April 15) at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Young recently received a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Song category for the Le Noise track “Angry World,” while the album itself was nominated for Best Rock Album. He also won the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award, Artist of the Year and Adult Alternative Album of the Year at this past Juno Awards.
