LCD Soundsystem cover Franz Ferdinand's "Live Alone"

LCD Soundsystem have already called it quits with several sold out farewell gigs to prove it, but this Record Store Day (April 16) fans can get thieir hands on a collectors item in the form of a covers EP, featuring the band’s cover of Franz Ferdinand’s “Live Alone.”

The EP is simply called Covers and also includes tracks by Deborah Harry, Peaches, and The Magnetic Fields’ Stephin Merritt performing renditions of songs off the Scottish band’s third studio album Tonight, released in 2009.
