The behemoth that is Coachella is upon us, or at least upon ye brave festival goers, as the three-day event starts tomorrow.

Festival details have been inching out for months—of course, the set times were recently announced, and earlier this week, the Creators Project aspect was given a little more detail. What we learned was that some performances, such as Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, and Interpol, would be getting a boost in some mostly unexplained way; all we knew was that the goal was “to transform their sets into dramatic multimedia visual experiences.” Cool.

Today, Matador revealed that Interpol would be getting some help from David Lynch for their set, creating a “visual juxtaposition of the seen and the unseen,” with “real-time visual manipulation from Seattle-based HPX.” It has something to do with Big Brother type of perma-surveillance and it sounds adequately creepy/awesome.

Wish you were going yet? All the details will unfold via the Coachella website in the coming days, so make sure you stay tuned. You can also stream the show live on the Coachella YouTube channel
