The Ryan Murphy-Kings of Leon saga continues with an apology from the Glee creator himself, thus putting an end to the Twitter war that kept us rolling our eyes, judging wholeheartedly and dismissing everything past “buy a bra.”

However, months after the 140-character saga, Murphy has admitted that his claim that bands who refuse the Glee treatment don’t support music education was ludicrous, and  reveals that he  “didn’t speak with as much clarity” as he would’ve liked.

Telling The Hollywood Reporter that he “completely understands when artists don’t want a show or another artist to interpret their work,” Murphy went on to maintain that he “supports artists and what they choose to do” and described the Followill clan as being “cool as shit.” (And that makes one of us.)
