Eminem, Elvis Costello to headline 2011 Osheaga Festival

Osheaga, one of Canada’s premier music festivals, unveiled a batch of artists who will take part in the now three-day event at Parc Jean-Drapeau from July 29 to the 31st. The current lineup includes Eminem, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, The Flaming Lips, Death Cab For Cutie, The Tragically Hip and a reunion show from Death From Above 1979.

Other artists named for the Montreal festival include Kid Cudi, Bright Eyes, Sam Roberts Band, MSTRKRFT, City and Colour, Ratatat, Karkwa, Crystal Castles, Beirut, Smith Westerns, The Luyas, Shad, Twin Shadow and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (to name just a few).

The daily lineup for Osheaga will be announced on April 18 while three-day passes go on sale this Friday (April 15) at noon. Single Day and Osheaga Classic (Saturday and Sunday) passes will be available April 21st. For all other details visit the festival’s official website.
